The biggest thing I’m involved with right now is the Esports program, which has been incredibly successful, far beyond what was expected. Instead of the fifteen members they expected, we have about thirty active members on teams and eighty plus people in our discord server. So that has been a huge part of my life. I was lucky enough to get in fairly early and because of that I was able to make myself useful, earning me a spot as an administrator in the Discord server and captain of the 看守 team, one of our three main games that we compete in at the moment. 我和博士. G, as well as the other team captains in 火箭联盟 and 英雄联盟 have worked really hard to grow and build this program, trying to establish SU as a serious competitor in Esports.
We’re working to add more games into our program, all while meeting with distributors, 公司, 高中, growing a name for ourselves. It’s a unique experience for me in that I get to be a part of the teams and compete, and at the same time learn business skills that will help in my future in the Esports industry while helping to grow SU’s program. All of this has helped me learn about what it’s like running a program, 指导一个团队, being in a leadership position, so it’s an incredible opportunity for myself to see what works.
